Hi everybody,
I just got back from Korea and wanted to give you a quick update on
what's going on. I'm preparing a blog post about my Korea trip for the
YPE website here, I'll try to have it ready for publication tomorrow:
https://ype.piratenpad.de/youthhubcon2013
Please like my wonderful hosts from The Next on facebook, they do great
work for youth participation in democracy and are really keen on getting
to know more Young Pirates. They've also posted a lot of pictures and
videos from the conference:

Tomorrow, I will be going to Brussels for three days to do some
networking and attend conferences on behalf of YPE. This is my schedule:
Monday:
* ICT ART CONNECT 2013 - conference co-hosted by Amelia on
technology-based art
Tuesday:
* Copyright & Research Policy - another event co-hosted by Amelia, see
torrentfreak article here:
http://torrentfreak.com/european-parliament-considers-decriminalizing-file-sharing-131109/
* meeting representatives of Wikimedia Germany, the organisation
responsible for running the German Wikipedia and advocating access to
information
* meeting on the March conference for the PPEU founding
* We Steal Secrets - film screening and discussion on WikiLeaks
organised by Amelia at the EP
Wednesday:
* Breakfast debate: Data Protection and TTIP - Is a Common Approach
Inevitable? hosted by conservative MEP Daniel Caspary
* Digital inclusion: from e-Voting to e-Governing - panel discussion
hosted by ALDE MEP Jorgo Chatzimarkakis, who is rapporteur on the
proposal for a directive on accessibility of public sector bodies’ websites
* interview with researcher from the European Youth Forum who wants to
know about how the different parties reach out to young people in their
election campaigns
* Exploring the economic aspects of net neutrality in Europe - round
table discussion hosted by ALDE MEP Marietje Schaake
That's it (I hope), thanks again to Amelia and her staff for making this
possible!
